Has anyone done one like this? I have taken a liking to Rotala's and Hygro plants. What could I use for mid and fore ground?

Right here is my tank it will be going in. 130 gallons.

For my hardscape I want to do some drift wood, and some lava rock.

Here is my tank I have now, 29 gallon, all of the stuff will be going in the big one besides the angel.

I think it´s an interesting combo, but in my humble opinion I would not plant them together in the same section of the tank, but rather on opposite sides. The hygros grow quite large (polysperma and sunset at least) leaves and grow very fast. The Rotalas (rotundifolia) have very small but colorful leaves. If you plant them side by side the rotalas would probably get lost on the hygro forest. Just my 2 cents...

Both grow to the top of the tank so they won´t work as mid ground plants unless you keep them well trimmed. I think they are both easy plants to grow
