Good to hear. I don't know the name of the plant. It grows really nice and compact in high light, otherwise it grows tall like that. I'd recommend planting it and letting it grow out. Once it has established cut it near the top, plant the top, and let it sprout smaller versions from the bottom half, which you can remove and plant later. Here it is in my 5g high light tank.
