Room temp/cold water 20 long ideas

525 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  OVT
I'm going to be setting up a 20 long really soon. I'm really leaning toward an unheated set up, room temp is usually below 65 most of the year.

I was thinking of doing a stream type tank, with a power head. Thinking 15 or so white cloud minnows(already have 7 in an unheated 10gal). But I really want a bottom feeder or two. I'd love a few golden dojo loachs, but would a 20 long be too small? Or maybe a hill stream loach? If them, how many? Any other options?

20L is too small for dojos. RCS or CPD? Guppies will be ok. Farravelas (twig cats) might be another option.
