Hello, we have been using Rodi water in our low tech planted tank. I have the unit for are saltwater setup. The Rodi water comes out about 7 kh. Curious if I should put a splitter in before the Di and just use Ro for our fresh tank. I recently ordered a fertilizer package from Gla to start dosing. Not running co2 currently and have a current satalite+ 36" on a 55gal.

Thanks

Alex

Does not matter how hard your water is, if you are certain kh is 7 coming out of your to unit, it's time for a new membrane.
I live in south Florida, our water is liquid rock. My ro unit puts out a tds of 10 with 0 gh. Rodi is not needed for freshwater purposes, but can make a big difference in a reef tank.
