The wood is pine and was finished with Espresso Minwax oil stain followed by Tung Oil.

Added substrate of a mixed of Fluval Stratum and Aquasolum black humate, as this is what I had on hand. Rocks from an old aquarium.

Plants transferred from another aquarium:
Java Fern?
Sagittaria sublata?
Christmas Fern

Looking good! To join the vertical and horizontal beams in your stand - did you notch out the verticals?

I used wood biscuits and a biscuit joiner to attach them. No notching. On the inside are deck 90 degree corner brackets for added strength.

The Angelfish are doing a great job of eating all the “white fluff” that develops on new wood, but unfortunately one has taken a liking to this plant and has pulled out and eaten most of it.
