Rex Style Reactor confusion

Call me stoooopid but....
I just ordered a Rexx Style inline c02 reactor and im planning ahead before it arrives. Do i attach the reactor to the input or output of my XP-3 ? Also, where the C02 comes in, should that be closest to the filter or to the tanks water ?

Pretty sure its on the output and the co2 is at the bottom/closer to the filter than tank.

It goes on the out side of the canister. The co2 goes in at the top, water goes out on the bottom.

does it matter where i cut the hose to connect the reactor ? Closer to the filter, closer to the water level or just in the middle ?

I don't think it really matters. I have mine sitting on the bottom of the stand next to the filter. Tube comes out of the filter output and into the top of the reactor. Water goes out the bottom and back to the tank.
