Hey everyone,

I posted here before (and I'll probably delete that old post if I can), and just wanted to share my new aquascape I'm currently working on.

A few days ago I pulled my plants up and gave them a blackout treatment to rid any algae they may have had, and today I got the hardscape in. Its not final yet, but it should be finalized tomorrow night.

Here is what I have so far:
Vertebrate Branch Organism Wood World

Window Vertebrate Branch Organism Plant

In the first photo I'm thinking I might remove that front piece of driftwood. In the second photo, I'm thinking of removing the branched piece far left and replacing it with one or two somewhat straight pieces. I just don't want all that empty space on the left, even if I fill it with plants. I want some hardscape there!

What are everyones thoughts so far? (Don't mind the wood pile under the arch. Those are pieces I cut up to attach Bolbitis and Buce to. I plan on placing some around where the wood and rock meet. It'll make moving them out of the tank for any deep maintenance easier.)

Plant Vertebrate Wood Organism Grass

I ended up going with this layout. Its based off a photo I saw on the internet. I replanted everything I had before, but I'll probably change the layout a bit yet in regards to plants. For now I'll let everything get settled.

None of the plants appreciated the blackout, but nothing looks dead. Most of my Pogostemon helferi died off though, completely becoming mush. Be careful with blackouts if you have it.

I'll update again when the plants have grown in more.
