So will it work? Is anyone using UV reptile globes to grow there plants? Im just wondering for a nano cube will a 60,75 or 100watt UV daylight bulb grow plants or is it not the right SORT of light??

A UV light bulb will not grow plants, unfortunately.

Just get a regular fluorescent tube and it will be fine.

I have a compact fluorescent Daylight bulb (the kind that fits an old fashioned tunsun lamp socket) over a ten gallon tank. Grows duck weed and hair algae pretty good.
