Hello All,

When I got back from the fish store, one of the plants I got was super delicate and broke in about 3/4 places along the stem. I just went ahead and took the 3/4 sections of stem and root and planted them in the substrate. Most are bunched together. I've attached a photo. Will this work in allowing the plants to eventually root and grow?

Its aromatica, you should be fine

I'd pull out the bunch you're referring to and plant them stem by stem to give each a bit of space. This will give each stem a place to root, and when you trim it later it will bush out a bit. More space = more light to the base of the plant which in turn reduces the amount of older foliage dropping off.
