Hello Everyone,

I have a question about replacing a CO2 tank with an Azoo regulator. I have read in several places, and GLA mentions it on their website, that you should relieve the working pressure from the regulator before replacing the tank so that you don't damage the low pressure gauge when reattaching the tank to the regulator. Apparently Azoo recommends against attempting to adjust the working pressure and offers no straightforward way of doing so (I realize that it is possible.)

My question is, is it possible that I will damage the regulator by not adjusting the working pressure before reattaching the tank? Or is Azoo a special case?

Thank you!

Any ideas? I am going to refill my tank today. I will probably just unplug the solenoid and replace. Or is that a bad idea? I really don't want to damage my regulator.

i have an older azoo (about 10 yrs old). in the 9 times i've refilled my tank, never once did i change the working pressure. i wonder if doing so applies only to dual stage regs.
