I recently purchased some plants and the hairgrass, micro sword and anudius nana came with plant plugs. Should I take the plants out of the plugs before planting or leave them on? Also, should the anudius nana be tired to driftwood and should I leave the plug on it?

if what you mean by plugs is those little plastic baskets full of filter floss, then yes, do carefully remove them before planting if you already have plant friendly gravel. don't pull the plants out of the baskets, rather cut the baskets open from top to bottom and gently peel away the floss from the roots. Anudius will do fine without the plant plug, tied to your driftwood with a few wraps of fishing line holding it in place; eventually the roots will grip the wood and you can remove the fishing line. keep in mind that many plants are traumatized by transplanting so it may be several weeks before you notice any new growth.
