Was wondering if I could use a Regulator that was previously used for Argon, Oxygen, or Acetlyene? I have a couple of these laying around (Smith Brand if that makes a difference) and was wondering if it would be safe to use them. Mind you now these are USED and not new in the box so they did the have the respective gasses flowing through them for quite some time.

Thanks in advance, Ben

rebuild for co2 is ok, but it is a smith regulator from Harris Group. old smith model regulators have the Harris Group old standard 1/2-27 inlet thread. You need to find the right CGA320 nipple, CGA320 nipple part number CO-7(western enterprise).
