Regular Tiger Vs. OEBT hardiness/water params, etc.

What are peoples experiences with regular tigers vs. OEBTs in terms of hardiness, willingness to breed, etc.

If regulars will do it for you, good chance OEBT will?

Continually finding these guys to have conflicting reports.

CRS sound harder, but simpler.

OEBTs are selectively bred from regular tigers (wild form) so there's more inbreeding with OEBTs, therefore, they will be weaker then regulars. My OEBTs are pretty hardy though. This is how I'd rank the shrimp in terms of acceptance of water parameters:

Regular Tigers > OEBT > CBS/CRS, depending on grade, > TB
I keep all most of my Cardinias in the same water parameters, personally I dont see any difference at all in hardiness between OEBT & regular tigers. I consider them both to be very hardy shrimp.
Ph 6.8
tds 180 (around)
temp 72-74
Thanks for this. Is that Ohio water, or Ohio water run through a fancy membrane?

Interesting, I don't think I asked you before but turn out that's almost identical to the OEBT tank water I have for the shrimps from you ;-)
