I will be moving pretty soon and will be taking my 20gal long with me. Since I have to take my fish out and most the water I'm thinking of redoing my scape in the process but I have a little dilemma. My tank has been setup for about a year now and I have a piece of driftwood that has not moved since I set my tank up a year ago. So, I'm curious to know if I move this drift wood, will i be releasing anything besides debris into my tank? I worry it'll release ammonia or something like that into my tank after I lift it up.
