Well, I just got my first batch of cherry shrimp (thanks, beviking). When I first added them to my 75g tank I thought they would be okay since they easily avoided the small fish and the dwarf Gourami's had no interest in them.
A day later, however, and I could only see one of them and a day later, not a single one. Early this morning, however, I needed to check something in the tank so I flicked on the tank lights. Eureka! I easily spotted a dozen or so of the original twenty quickly skittering off into the plants.
So, are they just protecting their hides during tank 'daylight' or are they generally more active at night?
Thanks,
Marco
