What part of NY are you? If you're around manhattan go to win's fish store. He has a great selection of Sakura Cherries. Sometimes you can even scoop up almost solid colored ones.

It will be tough finding anybody to do $15 shipped on shrimp. It costs around 8-10 bucks just to ship something out (breather bag, insulation, heat pack). You're better off driving somewhere and picking them up...lots of pet stores now carry cherries so make some phone calls.
It's do-able but someone would really be doing you a favor so take the first offer you get on here.
