Hi everyone well I have a couple of fluval chi tanks in my living room they're at the ending tables and I have a fluorescent bulb on top of them the thing is that my plants are not doing so well the only bulbs I've been able to find are 5000k so I guess I need something stronger I was thinking on some led spot lights on the lamps but at the same time I can remove lamps and just add a fixture to the tank so the question is if it would be a bulb what type is recommended? Or if it would be a fixture where can I get a good one to grow my plants?

I've got a 13 watt 6500K bulb above my chi and it's growing things really well. Bulb facing down instead of sideways.

Where did you find them? I've been looking all over walmart and home depot for a bulb that would provide 6500k

I've got 2 10" fugerays on mine, plants are growing well.

Are they expensive?
