Hi everyone well I have a couple of fluval chi tanks in my living room they're at the ending tables and I have a fluorescent bulb on top of them the thing is that my plants are not doing so well the only bulbs I've been able to find are 5000k so I guess I need something stronger I was thinking on some led spot lights on the lamps but at the same time I can remove lamps and just add a fixture to the tank so the question is if it would be a bulb what type is recommended? Or if it would be a fixture where can I get a good one to grow my plants?

Thanks in advance
- Carlos :)

EcoSmart brand at Home Depo at 5,000K work just fine. About $10 for a 4-pack.

Wal-Mart has 3 pack GE brand of 6500K, usually in a green/white colored box marked Daylight for about 12.00 as well.
