i have no idea what you would use for a dip other than dipping it into a tank with a couple loaches

Recommended dip for hornwort?
Can anyone suggest a dip for de-snailing hornwort. I do have Alum and Pottasium Permanganate on hand, but I have never dealt with hornwort and was wondering how fragile it is. I also had snails after using Pottasium P. so I'm leaning towards the Alum dip if it is safe for the plant and recommended.
Opinions on what to use and how long to dip are greatly appreciated! Thanks.
