I have the same tank and I absolutely love the sun sun. Flow seems perfect. I would guess it is around 100 gph though advertised at 265. I left the tubing long though.

Do you believe a 2215 or 2217 is a better fit for a 25gallon cube?

I use a Fluval G3 for my 25g cube. The G3 doesn't have the strongest flow so it fits the 25g perfectly (I think people use it for tanks up to 50 gallon but then I think the flow would insufficient). I use a lily pipe outflow which I think creates a gentler flow as well.

Eheim Ecco pro or pro 3 e 2074. I use an Ecco pro 35 for my 10, and a 2074 in conjunction with a magnum 350 for my 90. The 2074 is like ~ 150 GPH factory setting I believe plus comes with media.

I was considering a G3 for the sexy factor...I don't mind paying for sexy. I am curious what one would run in the chemical cartridge purigen (which I run in all my tanks) or peat...or both.
