i'm thinking about purchasing a tablet to write with for my laptop. can anyone give any suggestions as to what are some nice ones? where should i look to get one? thank you for your time.

I don't know the exact model, but my friend has a Fujitsu and she LOVES it. I'll try to get more info for you.

I would recommend the HP Compaq nc2400 I just finished configuration of this model for a VP at the office and he loves it.

Are you talking tablet pc or a tablet to plug in? If it's one to plug in then I suggest Wacom. Also, get a smaller tablet than you might think you want--6 X 8 is probably the most you'd want. I got a larger one for my desktop for art and wind up moving my arm instead of just my wrist when I use it.

yes, tablets that you use to draw, write, and such.. i notice they have different pressure levels.. what is an ideal level for drawing use?

Wacoms are good beginning tablets. Graphires are the most economical and good to use. A step up would be an Intuos. Any higher than Intuos, I don't know. I'm just a poor kid.

My Intuos is made by Wacom. I believe the Graphire is too.
