Hey, I'm looking into setting up a small 10 or 20 gal tank and would like some recommendations for lightning and filters. I will potentially just be using it to breed livebearers, so nothing too complicated, but in the future I may convert it in a dirted/planted tank like my 40 gal. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Eheim 2215 for a 20g or a Eheim 2213/2211 for a 10g.

I have a 10 gal. dirted tank with a AquaClear 50 and a Current U S A Satellite Freshwater LED +. Works good and didn't cost too much.

Standard T8 fixture and a sponge filter would be a very cheap and common breeding setup. That you could then plant with nice hardy low light plants to spruce up.
