So I had a huge staghorn algae episode which lead to me rescaping my tank.

I cleaned my filter and bombed the tank with h202 to kill the algae.

I had planted a new batch of dwarf hair grass and some mosses in areas with high flow, good lighting(for the grass but shade for the moss) and lot of co2. But weirdly enough the algae seems to grow more in these areas.

At the back of the tank where there is less flow and co2 the algae doesn't grow as aggressive.

Also the dwarf hair grass at the front of the tank seems to have stunned growth which again doesn't make much sense since it has good access to nutrients and light.

Any thoughts on this?
