Reactor Set-up?? Help

Hi All,

Im new to this site and planted tanks. I'm trying to setup my reactor its the aqua medic 1000 was planning on connecting it to the outflow of my canister filter. The problem I'm coming up with is trying to route the hoses. Does anyone use this reactor this way? What I'm trying not to do is have visible hoses sprouting out the top of the tank? If you have pictures that would be great

I made my own reactor following a design by Rex Grigg. Read his guide and you will learn many things. Just do a search and you'll find it.

You can mount the Aqua Medic 1000 under the tank to avoid this problem. Just drill the mounting bracket onto the stand.
