Long story short, my Evolve 4 had a catastrophe at work and was destroyed for the most part. So now it is at home and I am restarting it.

I am trying to get some new ideas for plants, as all the plants I had in it were unique to it and were a total loss.

I picked up some tube water wysteria from Petco. But I am pretty certain this comes in the immersed form but will change. My question is, is this even really a good nano tank plant? Or should I abandon it and transfer it to my 30 gallon?

This is a low tech tank, with the stock lighting from the Evolve 4 on it. I have had great success growing low light plants in it.

Sorry to hear you lost all of your plants. I also have an evolve 4 and also bought some wisteria in a tube from Petco back when I started the tank. At first it didn't do much and looked like it was dying. I think this was due to it adjusting to underwater conditions. After about a month I upgraded to the fugeray-r cliplight from finnex and started dosing fertilizers. I'm really happy with that light for the evolve. The wisteria and all other plants started showing more growth. Unfortunately I feel like the wisteria is too large for the tank. The leaves have changed shape, grown much longer and bushier. It's an awesome plant but it's taking over and I'm looking at moving it to a different tank. It could work though if you want it to be your main plant life. I just feel like it is blocking light and taking space away from my other plants. Good luck with rescaping the evolve!

Thanks, but that is the rule right? When you leave for vacation that's when things go wrong LOL. I wasn't even gone the first weekend and everything went wrong.

That's that I am afraid of, that it is going to get too big. But I want something different than what I have in my other Betta tank. I think I might transfer this wisteria to my 30 gallon. Just need to find something to replace it with.

And I also have the same light, but I found it was too much light for me as I do no use CO2 or any ferts besides root tabs.

Anyone have any thoughts on a different plant or plants?
