Hello all!

At the moment I have a well established 6 gallon red cherry shrimp tank with approx. 15 shrimp.

I wanted to get another species of shrimp to join them.. had my eyes on CRS but I've heard they are difficult. But considering my water parameters are good and my PH is around 6.7 from my RO water, I might get them.

Can I mix species with my RCS and not lose their color after breeding, that's IF they breed together.

What shrimp would you guys suggest?

Thanks in advance!!

Malawa shrimp - Caridina pareparensis parvidentata. They can live in the same conditions as red cherry shrimp.

If you want CRS, you'll need to list your tank's GH, KH, TDS, and temperature to see if they're compatible.
