Hi guys and gals. I'm looking for some cheap RCS to add to my Spec V betta tank. For the record, I have no idea how my betta will do with shrimp, but he leaves small snails alone, so I'm hoping he will leave shrimp alone.

If the RCS work out, I would also like to source some CRS/CBS to add as well. I know ANA has some shrimp because I went to take a look today, but I really want something cheaper since I'm not sure how my betta will react. I would rather not get ghost shrimp, though I know they're very cheap. Thanks!

4 members of DAS were up at ARK this past weekend. I wish you could have contacted them sooner, I would have sent a bag down! But if you are in the PHX area in March, we have a fish convention set called the SAKE, and I will have cherries there!

At the monthly DAS meetings, someone usually brings RCS to the auction. 12+ good color went for $5 at yesterday's meeting, you can often get that many low grade at the meeting for $3.

In March, SAKE in Phoenix would probably be a chance to get some for super cheap as well.

Wow, I'm sad I missed that! It's kind of hard for me to make it out to Phoenix though since my car has been somewhat unreliable and at least 5 mechanics/transmission specialists have been unable to tell me what is wrong so far. Maybe I'll be able to make it to SAKE.

Someone in Sahuarita was selling bunch of shrimp a couple weeks ago on craigslist. Did you ever look on there?

I don't look there very often. :/ The few times I had checked I didn't find any, so I kind of stopped doing that. I can't seem to find it now, so they must be out. Guess I better start keeping on eye on there again too.
