question about a fully planted tank that has ~7.8 PH (KH/GH~6) when the lights are on (daytime) and at night I drop to ~7.0PH

is this ok for the shrimp? I do have some coral in my substrate.

Should I look at adding an air bubbler at night? Or coral to my filter media?
or just leave it alone .. they can handle it.

I would assume that this PH swing would be seen even in nature to some degree.

shrimping around.. seeing as that is the normal PH for seattle area and lots of people here keep shrimp I assume that long term its also fine.

and yes I am aware of the very stable environment :) that's why I am asking how to help with the PH swings from the plants.

no Co2 is added.

specifically, I see a drop due to plants no longer photosynthesizing. Ph is highest right after lights out due to the days photosynthesis and lowest in the morning due to respiration and the buildup of C02.

So I am seeing a swing of ~.8 is this ok for shrimp? should I look increase surface agitation to assist in gas exchange with the Co2 buildup? anyone know if coral as a buffering agent would assist in lowering this swing with out other side effects?
