Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if any one can help me. I'm starting a planted tank and was wondering if RCS can live in a planted tank with high lvl of co2. I figure that they're a small creature, they don't require much oxygen. I don't know the exact lvl of co2, but I'm certain that it's going to be high. Will this affect/kill my RCS?
I've definitely killed RCS with CO2, but that was before I made a drop checker. They're more sensitive to CO2 overdose than fish, and it's less obvious when they're struggling. That said, they'll be just fine with a stable, moderate level of CO2.
