has anyone heard of rci technology.its used to clean house air of bacteria and spores and all that good stuff.it uses a uv light and fan to clean the house.it goes though wall and everything.my ? is wound it kill the bacteria in the filter or fish tank or is it safe cause filter colony is in water.they work way better than hepa filters.it was tested by nasa and worked really well too.the product is called fresh air by eco quest.

You'll be fine. The bacteria is in your tank, not in the air.
Never heard of "RCI" technology. It sounds like a company name. That said, UV sterilization works only on the air that is lit by UV light, and the UV light must be a very specific wavelength.

So, your fish tank is safe, unless it is under the special UV light.
