Will any of these plants grow submersed in an aquarium, or are they all exclusively emersed, pot grown only, like most collector cryps?

Thanks for the comments guys!

Robert - most of my collection is grown emersed in pots. Although most of these plants will grow submersed, the water parameters they would require are not your usual aquarium params. I have some of these plants routinely put out runners / plantlets that are fully submersed in the shallow water of my emersed setup.

For folks w/ questions - you should have gotten PMs back.

Here's what's still left.
However, if there is something that's sold out that you must have, pm me and I can check to see if I have more.

Going fast....

so if I read this right... *most* will grow submersed, but the water parameters are not the usual aquarium parameters??? so what are the parameters for submersed growth? just would like to know before I spent a chunk of change on a group of plants.

Thanks, Ken

It really depends on the plant itself - not only species - but where it was collected too sometimes. For example, C. cordata from Thailand grows in hard water - that form doesnt do well in softer water at all.

With the ones listed above, besides pontederifolia, fairly acidic water / substrate will be required - pH in the low 5's - if you're to grow them submersed. That said, I would recommend growing these ones emersed, propagating a few out and then trying submersed culture.
