There is small amount duckweed mixed in. Good for breeding tanks, fish that don't appreciate bright lights and a nitrate sponge.

What kind of lighting does it need?

It is in a high light tank. The ONLY reason it's there is because all of my tanks are high light tanks. I am sure it will do well with 2wpg or maybe 1.5 it may just grow slower, which may be a blessing in disguise. A low tech tank should be fine.

I grows extremely well and super fast in a high tech tank. So far the only thing I see that really bothers it is super high humidity. I just crack my glass cover about 1/4" and that solved the problem.
