Hey guys.
This Is the second day I have had my school of 7 Zebra Danios.
3 arenschooling at the top and 3 are schooling at the bottom. They do not chool tohether, but they all seem energetic and healthy.
However, 1 Zebra Danio waas swimming upside down, not moving sometimes, and breathing quickly.
I cje ked the water parameters before I got the fish and they were 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites.
Why is my fish doing this.

what are parameters now?! a fair bit can change in 2 days with the addition of new fish. what is your temp and params?

I do not know my water parameters rite now but my temp is 72 should I do a water change

Yes, do a large water change with treated water.

You need to be testing for ammonia and nitrite often until things settle in. They are likely suffering from ammonia poisoning.

Is your tank cycled?

The random schooling and not schooling is typical. They are not tight schooling fish.
Upside down is a very bad sign.

Where did you buy the fish from? If this is just the second day there may be no chance for the fish, many of the fish from the pet stores will die. Sometimes it is not a problem with your tank or water. Good luck

Yes I cycled my tank for about 1.5 months
