I have a good amount of ramshorn snails, i generally enjoy that they keep the tank clean and damage only the occasional leaf.

I just placed a new bucephalandra (i already have several other bucephalandra's in the tank) plant in my tank, with 8 healthy leaves. The next day, there were 3 healthy leaves after the snails attacked, i moved it to another tank (still ramshorn snails), and 2 days later, i have 1 leaf.

Has this happened to other people? Is there any way to save the plant, because all 3 of my tanks have snails?

Perhaps those leaves are the emersed variety that need to die off or be eaten so it can grow back in its submersed form?
