I have a fluval 3.0 over my 40 breeder and absolutely love the control with this light using my phone.
However I do want to raise it up off my aquarium and have the flexibility to raise/lower if needed.
can anyone give examples of how they do this? Photos are always welcome.

Have you used the search function or checked out tank journals here on the forum?

There are tons of ways to raise light fixtures and most all of them are documented here on the forum. From light stands to ceiling suspension/shelf suspension to 3D printed options. Just have to put in the effort to search for them. I promise search is your friend. Try it out.

I use the Fluval 3.0 risers found on Etsy. It works well for me. I also tried the current marine mount but I didn’t like the tilt
