I know all fish have the potential to eat shrimp but I was just wondering if there were any rainbows that would be ok with my blue rili I will be adding to my 40 gallon next week. Currently I have 6 panda cories and 5 guppies. I'm thinking of taking the guppies out however. Thank you!

I would think most of the blue eyes and possibly the threadfin would be okay as they are very small.

The dwarf rainbows fytcata and such are probably OK, they have them together in my lfs display tank... Then again they might just be restocking it

I keep threadfin rainbows and blue eyed rainbows along with cories with my blue dream shrimp. Shrimp are breeding and all seems well. I do have lots of hiding places in my tank though, so that likely helps their survival rate.

The species of the Pseudomugil genus will generally be okay, they might eat shrimplets but you could still get a colony. Threadfins are good as well. The guppies may be an issue though, I would also agree with you to take them out.

Celebes rainbows would be another good choice.
