I completely disagree...I sell tons of shrimp and other aquatics. I have a very busy life and selling aquatics is not my primary function. I think it is very reasonable to give someone a week. Sure I try to get back to people in 3 or so days, but to say 48 hours is kinda of ridiculous IMHO...I am not some big corporation with a customer service department. Sometimes it takes me an entire evening just to get through half the emails I deal with every day.

Steve...give him a week, if nothing then, go right after whomever it was.
Normally i would say a week, but if the shrimps are dying i would file it sooner rather than later, because if they ask you to ship them back, at least you'll have something to ship back, but if they are all dead then you have nothing.

If you told him the shrimp were dying, he might very well just be waiting for them all to die off. Freeze the ones you have left if they pass so you have something to send back.

If he had this in his colony, then he very well knows the time frame of the die off and might not even need to be told they are dying. Just that they are sick. If you had them a week before you contacted him about the sickness, he might very well try to say it's on you, your fault they are sick.

Unfortunately there are sellers now who just try to make a buck in the shrimping hobby and don't pay too much attention to the quality of shrimp.

If it was shipping or he owned up to shipping out on a wrong shipping date or whatever, then he's still honest- but to sell shrimp that are obviously infected- file a claim.

Update, the seller and I might not be seeing eye to eye on this as his last email. Will keep all updated on the situation. As it looks like it may turn ugly. I am trying my best to keep it smooth and give him every chance to make it right. As I would still like to keep it on the up and up. But I dont know at this point. Sent a email last night and we will see how it goes.

You are such a patient man. Kudos to you.

Did you ask for a refund? Cause some sellers will never offer a refund unless you ask for it and they hope you just wanna complain and then Go away.

I would have just asked for a refund after the picture of the infection, and then file a case of he doesn't.

I have asked, well he refunded me for the shrimp that showed up dead on that order. I had the box show up smashed and 20 carbon rillis dead, some prl I bought dead. The other set of PRL alive, and the infected 20 orange rilli

It is a shame, I like allot of the product he sells. The orange rilli outside of the parasite, looked amazing. The prl that were alive looked good too. But, you can have the best product and the worst customer service and it makes it all look bad.
