I got good growth on several of my stems plants.

Most of them are a 1 foot long. and full of midsection roots. Is there a harm of cutting the roots if I don't plan to cut them for replanting/propagation?

how do I propagate this without hurting it. the crown is about 1/2 foot wide. but the stem below is bare.
