If that stand is made of particle board as such stands tend to be, I wouldn't use if for anything except a few potted plants. No racking resistance at all, and the thin top would soon bow under the weight of even 20 gallons of water. Just my opinion, of course.

I have one, put my ten gallon on it and it would shudder if you accidently bumped it. After a few months, I took it down due to the cat jumping on the lower shelf and making the whole tank shake. Too nerve racking for my blood.

Edit: By the way, it is held together with a bolt sticking out of the end of one leg that screws into the other leg. The shelves are held in place because there is a small hole drilled in each corner that sit around the bolt of the leg.
