Hey guys I'm just getting back into planted tanks and have some Pro PPS that I mixed over a year ago is it still good its been in a cool place but not refrigerated or anything ? One of the bottles has a small clump in it that I cant break up as well let me know what you think cause theres a lot in each bottle left that I dont want to waste .

Personally, I wouldn't use it but I'm no expert on the chemistry involved. It would just make me nervous. Especially since PPS method is all about a balance of nutrients. Some of the ferts formed into a clump and will not make it into the liquid you will put in your tank. There wouldn't be an easy way to guarantee that the different ferts are balanced like they were when you first mixed. Just my 2 cents.

toss it and make a fresh batch, what are you wasting? doubt its even $1 worth of minerals.. how much are your fish and plants worth?
