I have a tri-color sword in my 125 gallon. The plant itself is a good size very health. Had it for probably 8 months or so? The leaves are about 5 inches long and about 2.5 inches wide. Stems are a good 3 or 4 inches long. A couple days ago a new leaf came out only the stem and leafe shot to the top of the tank. The new stem is a good 14 inches tall and the new leaf is pretty tiny 2.5 inches long maybe. I am curious what would have caused this. I have 5 different sword plants in the tank and never seen any of them do that.

Nothing in my tank has changed recently.
Lighting is t5ho suspended 9" off the tank.
2x39 geismann midday 2x39 geisman aquaflora bulbs with a noon burst with the other 4 set of bulbs same kind. EI dosing with presurized co2

ill have to take a picture later but this is definilty not a baby plant coming up. I am familiar with what that looks like. This is sprouting the leaf first and then is shooting the leaf to the top of the tank. I have another one that is sprouting out and that one has shot up about 5 inches since yesterday with its own leaf.
