:icon_eek: so I do a experiment with my shrimps
not some fancy or expensive kind .. just plain cherry shrimps ....but 2 ( females ) of them have a nice atribute ( color ) i dont find a same atribute male so far
and I wanna ask I need a pale ( transparent ) male or is good a normal ( more colorfull ) one to get up the wanted strain on the offsprings?

The more colourful the parental shrimp are, the more likely the progeny will also be colourful.

If you want nicer (redder) Cherry Shrimp, you will require redder parents.

Keep in mind with cherries the females usually carry the color traits.

I will try it with most paler male then just to be sure LOL!
The truth is the 2 females are kind a purple so if the upper and dominant strain will be purple beside the culling and observing colors..... if time and luck helps i'll have some purple cherryes .... if not i'll will have more experience
And if that unknown red cherry mother makes me a purple male beside these females i'll be very pleased, if not i'll be happy with what i got
So they are now in a separate nano tank with plants ans moss crushed lava rock substrate and lots of floating plants... today i'll will chose the males to keep them company and wait to see some saddles soon .... and get the first batch this summer

I will try my best sir not so experimented in shrimps but who knows begginers luck may help
one of the female just molted the other day the color stayed on so it's not from food or from other cause .... thank you again !
