It'll brown the water pretty fast! I put an eigth of a leaf in my 10 gallon and it browned over night. I'm wondering what how long it'll bring the pH if I never take it out or water change.

I've tested my pH just to see what the results are. With my water, at least, that amount of IAL (more than you have in, actually) doesn't have an effect on the pH. I did continue to do my regular water changes, however! (about 30% every 2 weeks)
