Hi im new here. I keep hearing the word "selenoid" attached to co2 redulator and such... what is the purpose?

currently I have the JaggedFurry setup and was wondering what is selenoid stuff?

No really it's because the amount of gas in it is so small. I could at max squeeze 3 months out of it on a 20 gallon. And just a heads up. You'll get a lot more respect on this forum if you type in complete sentences and not l337 5p34k

please don't put a solenoid on a paintball flow control valve type setup.
if it is a pressure regulator on a paintball tank, solenoid is ok.

It's not the size, it's how you use it!

I recently got 50 days (10 hrs/day) from my 24 oz. paintball tank on my 40g. But I do use a regulator and solenoid.

The support hardware is a much bigger factor than the the tank itself.
