POTOMAC VALLEY AQUARIUM SOCIETY 2014 SPRING AUCTION & TAG SALE

Saturday, April 5, 2014

Green Acres School
4401 Sideburn Road
Fairfax, Virginia 22030

This is the largest single Aquarium Auction Event in the State of Virginia - held only once a year.

The all-day auction & tag sale is a magnificent opportunity to buy & sell fish, plants, equipment and hobby-related items.

Raffle's for new equipment and supplies!

If you love the Aquarium Hobby this is a DO NOT MISS event with 100's of items for sale.

There are two separate features for purchasing and selling.

1.) AUCTION: This is your standard live auction with a detailed announcement of the item(s) for bid and in most cases images of the item(s) projected on a large screen - if you are the highest bidder you win the item and pay for it immediately.

2.) TAG SALE: This is an area which is like a standard market place with a few caveat's. All items in the tag sale have a fixed tag price... If you want the item you pick it up and purchase it for the tag price - just like shopping at Wal-mart. At certain times throughout the day the unsold items are reduced - the first reduction is 25% off the tag price, the second reduction is 50% off the original tag price. The tag sale is a unique opportunity to avoid the bidding process and simply pick out the items you want and make the purchase.

Seller's Registration opens at 9:00 am, closes at 11:00 am. Please register early.

Auctioning begins at 10:00 am and ends around 5:00 pm.

All buyers and sellers must be registered at My Group Auctions and the registration process is simple by visiting mygroupauctions.com

Please read the new auction and tag sale rules before buying or selling in the auction found at: PVAS AUCTION & TAG SALE RULES
