I've got a Hygrophilia Difformis that is taking over one end of my tank and I'm worried that it is going to shade some Cabomba I've got growing in the general area. I love the way the Difformis is growing but I realize I now have to trim it down. My question is, where do I start?

Here is a photo that will show what I'm talking about.

The tank is a 110 Gallon, CO2 injected, fertilized PMDD and is about 35 days old. Lighting was pushing 4 WPG but I've recently reduced it to about 3 WPG. Here is a photo of the entire tank.

Any help would be appreciated.

pinch off the tops and either share them with a friend or replant them somewhere else in your tank. All stem plants can be pinched back at any time with no harm to the plant...they will grow new shoots...so keep at it to shape it how you like.
