Proper utensils for trimming carpet plants? Scissor suggestions welcomed!

So I want to try a new tank soon that will include several fast growing plants that will needs trimmed, I've not settled on exact species but want to try a carpet... like hc. I know these need trimmed and am looking around at curved scissors for the job but not really sure what style will functionally work for trimming (have a proper bend on it so I don't have to have my hole hand and all of the scissors below water at an odd angle to trim as it will be a nano or pico tank so not enough room for that).
I'd appreciate suggestions, shared experiences, photos or brand names to look into (or avoid). Thank you for your feedback!

I apologize if this should be moved to aquascaping, equipment, or other forum section.. I wasn't 100% sure where to post this.

I use a pair of generic stainless steel double bend scissors to trim my foreground plants.

double bend.. so something simular to this? or are they a longer/taller style?

The first bend from the handles should be more angled, close to 90 degrees.

Sorry for the crappy pic.

Its a perfect photo for a simple display of the shape, thank you for sharing ^^
i use one of them fly fishing scissors by dr. slick. it's damn sharp and actualyl very comfortable. i got the slightly curved one and found it to be actually pretty comfortable to trim h.c.

but - i think it depends on user preference as well as the size of the tank. if you have a huge tank, i wouldn't want the scissors i have. if you have a nano tank, i'd highly recommend it.
