Does it change anything when you pump the primer?
Problem with fluval 206?!
Hey guys,
I've had my fluval 206 up and running for about a week now and it's developed a bit of a horrible noise, kind of rattler/hum. I've put a video of it on youtube so you can have a wee listen to it. It was recorded on my phone so the audio is a bit rubbish so you'll need to turn the volume up a little.
It's pretty loud, can be heard whilst watching the tv. I've opened it up and drained it and check the impeller and impeller shaft and they seem fine.
Just wondering what you guys might think?

Not really no, just makes the wooshing sound of the water passing through then keeps making that noise. I might drop the place I got it from a message tomorrow.Does it change anything when you pump the primer?
Thats what I'd do. Sounds like something is off balance.
check if the hoses are straight and the impeller installed properly

I think there is something up with it. It reminds me of a wee air pump I had years ago and that thing made a racket!! lolcheck if the hoses are straight and the impeller installed properly
