I'm wondering what this is. It's def not ich and I assume a type of fungus, but am not sure what it is or how to treat it.
I have a 55 gallon planted tank with lots of snails and shrimp so I know I can't really add much of anything to treat the problem.
Fish in first 2 pics is a female Swordtail that had the fungus around her eye and just died. We noticed the red show up on her head this morning before she died.
The fish in the 3rd, 4th, & 5th pics is a female guppy. That white growth has been on her head for a few weeks is slowly getting bigger.
They are the only 2 fish out of about 30 that have any visible growth on them.
So what is it and how can I get rid of it?
