I have never had issues with Prime. Best product from Seachem if you ask me. I sometimes do 90% water changes on some tanks, add tap water and prime and all is good.
I have never grown Anacharis either... Aren't they cold water plants?
I have never had issues with Prime. Best product from Seachem if you ask me. I sometimes do 90% water changes on some tanks, add tap water and prime and all is good.I switched to Seachem Prime for my last 3 water changes and am noticing a change in my Anacharis. They seem to have stopped growing all together and are starting to melt back very slowly. Before I had to cut them back every two weeks, they grew like weeds! I got three other bunches out of them! Nothing has changed in my tank other than the addition of Prime. Has anyone else seen this? Just wondering. They were responding very, very well to EI dosing till I used Prime.
Maybe I'll switch back to Tetra Aquasafe and ditch the Prime.
Anacharis best tied to wood or rock rather than planted in substrate.:wink2:I've been dry EI dosing with GLA's EI package. All the other plants have been responding wonderfully. My Swords and Val are exploding with growth. But the anacharis is melting. I've read in several places that the Anacharis takes a while to adjust to it's new water parameters when purchased and the original stems will melt, but I've planted snippings of new growth before it stopped growing and those are starting to melt as well. so I'm trying to figure out what it's not liking and the only recent change was the Prime. So that's why I suspected it, but looks like I need to keep searching for the cause.
